Susan Howarth was born on April 12, 1962. She is much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family. She was an inspirational Sister at the Christie who touched the lives of many families. She loved her job and had a real passion for nursing especially treating cancer patients. Susan adored her grandchildren and was a keen and very beautiful knitter. She was also outstanding on the sewing machine and could make all sorts of creations. Susan sadly lost her life to pancreatic cancer after only a few weeks after diagnosis. The staff at the Christie were fantastic in treating and looking after Susan. The Christie is a truly remarkable hospital with some amazing people.
